Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance, tree care, and groundskeeping. This role involves supervising landscape projects, maintaining gardens, and ensuring the overall aesthetic and health of the landscapes we manage.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead landscape maintenance teams to ensure high-quality work.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Care for trees and shrubs through pruning, fertilizing, and pest management.
- Build and maintain garden beds, including planting flowers, shrubs, and other vegetation.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage.
- Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify areas needing improvement or repair.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively.
- Knowledge of gardening techniques, tree care practices, and groundskeeping methods.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred.
