Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Teacher to join our team at A Leap In Learning, LLC. This role is essential in supporting lead teachers in creating a positive learning environment for our young learners. The Assistant Teacher will help implement educational activities that promote childhood development and ensure the welfare of each child.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing engaging lesson plans.
- Support children's learning through active participation in educational activities.
- Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and needs.
- Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Ability to create lesson plans that cater to various learning styles.
