A strong sales team is a vital element to delivering superior and distinctive customer service while driving maximum revenue results. The personal, mission-driven and account focused sales approach used by A Line career stylists requires constant training, coaching and mentoring of the sales team from a strategic, dedicated Sales Director.
The Sales Director at A Line Boutique is responsible for sourcing, onboarding, training, motivating, coaching and mentoring all sales associates across all locations throughout the employee lifecycle and ensuring the sales team is consistently meeting and exceeding performance goals. This individual is target and deadline-driven and boasts a humble command instinct with an ability to hold individuals and teams to a high level of accountability. This professional is control-oriented and seeks to implement and regulate A Line’s proven sales philosophy – using his / her experiences to determine strategic direction and coach team members individually.
This individual must be able to do the job of the stylist but have the desire and passion to lead through planning , directing , and controlling the activities of the team to achieve or exceed desired objectives through client engagement and proven sales tactics. Responsibilities of these elements include :
- Planning & Developing - Forecasts, Objectives, Policies, Procedures, Programs, Schedules, Standards
- Directing - Supervising, Motivating, Coordinating, Counseling, Staffing, Training
- Controlling - Measuring, Evaluating, Correcting, Improving
The expectation of this role is that 90% of the time is spent in the stores coaching, directing and co-selling with the stylists and 10% is spent in planning, constructing, and elevating A Line Boutique’s sales strategy with the management team.
This position will be responsible for overseeing A Line Boutique’s sales team across all 6 locations, with a home base in Denver, CO and opportunities to travel to Salt Lake City, UT and Carlsbad, CA to work with local teams.
