Areas Covered:
- Location: SE Dallas, TX
- Areas Covered: Seagoville, Crandall, Combine, Kaufman, and Balch Springs
Pay Rate: $28.00
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Case Manager to provide comprehensive healthcare management services. This position is responsible for coordinating appropriate healthcare treatments, managing healthcare costs effectively, and improving program efficiency with a focus on clinical issues.
Case Manager (Field) Key Responsibilities:
- Healthcare Coordination: Provide healthcare management services to ensure optimal healthcare outcomes, while managing costs and improving operational efficiency.
- Medical Necessity: Determine medical necessity and appropriateness of care.
- Quality/Compliance: Identify and pursue continuous quality and compliance opportunities, including corrective action for aberrances.
- Member Education: Educate and empower members to ensure compliance and satisfaction, fostering patient advocacy.
- Cost Optimization: Optimize total healthcare costs through strategic management and planning.
- Policy Implementation: Implement and evaluate healthcare policies based on usage and program directives.
- Team Education: Educate colleagues at all levels, enabling effective decision-making.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of field case management experience preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is required
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 75% of your time will involve travel within the Service Delivery Area to meet with members in person.
- Mileage reimbursement will be provided for travel.
- Additional support, such as travel allowances, company vehicles, or accommodation arrangements, will be discussed during the interview.
Case Manager (Field) Education Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree or non-licensed Master Level Clinician.
- Fields of Study: Psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, or early childhood education.
