NOW HIRING!!! A-Line is seeking a dedicated Industrial Control Technician to join our team in Orlando, FL. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of our facility’s equipment and systems. As an Industrial Control Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) and Automated Picking Systems within the Distribution Center. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team to meet operational goals.

Job Title : Industrial Control Technician

Location : Orlando, FL

Shift : Sunday-Thursday, 6 : 00 PM - 2 : 30 AM (or until work is complete)

Pay Range : $33 - $36 Per Hour

Key Responsibilities :

  • Implement and oversee effective preventative maintenance plans and schedules for all facility equipment and systems.
  • Diagnose and repair error conditions related to Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) and Automated Picking Systems in the Distribution Center.
  • Manage modifications and system upgrades of MHE and Automated Picking System controls.
  • Assess and improve the efficiency of materials handling equipment and automated picking systems, recommending necessary modifications.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal warehouse operations.
  • Maintain the CMMS / EAM system for tracking repairs performed and required on equipment within the Distribution Center.
  • Manage the inventory of spare parts and ensure availability for timely repairs.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, as needed, to meet productivity goals.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements :

  • Some technical vocational training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of related and progressively responsible experience; a strong electrical background is preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment and systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD layouts, IPB diagrams, and electrical circuitry diagrams.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Knowledge of PLCs (Preferred), including loading and configuring programs.
  • Experience with computer systems, including installation and setup of hardware and software.
  • Ability to troubleshoot communication issues with devices connected to the MHE network.
  • Experience operating and diagnosing chill water plant systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to mentor other technicians.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
