Medical Economic Analyst
Position Title : Medical Economic Analyst
Position Shift : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM (30 min lunch)
Payrate : 39.00 an hour
Job Description :
We are looking for a Medical Economic Analyst to join our team to support critical fiscal and program analyses within the Pennsylvania Medical Assistance Program. The role involves conducting complex data analyses to assist with decision-making and policy development, ensuring efficient cost management, and identifying potential savings opportunities within the healthcare system.
Medical Economic Analyst Minimum Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience : At least 2 years of experience in medical economic analyses or related fields
- A minimum of three (3) years of healthcare industry experience, preferably with a health plan or a pharmacy.
- Solid understanding of healthcare operations, including enrollment, claims, customer service, and appeals.
- Demonstrated experience in project management.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to apply them in practical settings.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage long-term projects successfully.
- Experience creating executive-level reports and presentations.
- Working knowledge of Medicaid / Medical Assistance is a plus, but not required.
