THE POSITION
Do you like to work independently providing sound information? The Department of Community and Economic Development needs you today working on the federal HOME-ARP Program, HOME Investment Partnerships Program and other HUD special purpose grants within the Center for Community & Housing Development. The Pennsylvania HOME Program is a federally funded program that provides municipalities with grant and loan assistance to expand and preserve the supply of decent and affordable housing for low- and very low-income Pennsylvanians.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position schedules and conducts monitoring of grantees, reviews and recommends grant applications for approval, makes independent determination on the programmatic capability of each grantee applying for assistance, generates and reviews reports, provides technical assistance to local elected officials and staff regarding the activities and acceptable use of HOME and other HUD special purpose grant funds within the Center for Community & Housing Development.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework : You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
