Procurement Specialist
Location : North Houston, TX 77043
Schedule : Full-time, Monday–Friday, Normal Business Hours
Pay : $40 per hour
Contract : 1-Year Contract-to-Hire
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to lead sourcing activities, negotiate contracts, and drive cost optimization for aerospace and industrial components. This role requires a highly motivated, self-driven individual with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead sourcing and negotiations for low-to-high-value aerospace and industrial components to optimize costs and ensure supply continuity.
- Conduct contractual and price negotiations with new and existing suppliers to mitigate commercial risk and maximize cost savings.
- Perform in-depth cost breakdown analyses, including cost estimation, to drive divisional cost-saving targets.
- Develop and execute supplier and commodity strategies, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Manage cost reduction and resourcing programs while mitigating risks to existing supply chains.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective procurement strategies and early involvement in project planning.
- Establish and monitor procurement processes within the project management framework
- Analyze customer inquiries, scope of supply, and contract agreements, supporting project calculations and risk assessments.
