Now hiring a Child Behavioral Health Supervisor. The Social Work Supervisor would be working PERMANENTLY/DIRECTLY with a local non-profit organization and has career growth potential. The required availability is full-time / 40 hours per week.
Position: Child Behavioral Health Supervisor (LMSW, LLP, or LPC)
Location: Southgate, MI 48195
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, Develop schedule with supervisor and work at least 4 hours each week after 5:00. NO on call. Full-time staff must provide 23 hours of billable service per week.
Annual Salary: $70,000 - $93,000 (Salary based on experience, If someone has no supervisory experience, prior Therapist experience will be considered for placement on the range.) ***incentive pay available***
Long-Term Growth: Direct Hire position (no contract work)

Key Responsibilities:
- Summary: Responsible for the administrative and daily functioning of the Wraparound Program, which includes all the functions necessary for the delivery of services to the institutions and client populations of the community served by this program.
- Provide supervision to staff and interns in the children's Wraparound program.
- Maintain Comprehensive oversight and monitoring of chart documentation compliance, collecting data for analysis of trends and deficiencies, and establishing corrective measures in such instances.
- Managing staff and department within span of control, including but not limited to: making recommendations with particular weight as to the interviewing, selecting, hiring, and termination of staff; setting and adjusting hours of work; on-boarding and training staff; directing work and assignments; appraising and evaluation of staff work performance; handling of staff complaints and grievances; and disciplining employees.
- Coordinate, oversee, and provide supervision for all SED Waiver cases.
- Collaborate across all Children's Behavioral Health programs regarding CMH wraparound cases and SED Waiver cases.
- Assist in providing coaching, training and direction to all Wraparound staff.
- Review and organize all treatment records and reports pertaining to the treatment and the rendering of services to children.
- Work in consultation with the Quality Department to assure that service activities and case records meet or exceed the standards established by accrediting bodies as necessary.
- Conduct weekly meetings with staff and supervisors.
- Assess community needs and assign priorities and direct service when indicated.
- Assess need for psychiatric and psychological services and monitor delivery.
- Provide emergency assessments to clients in crisis when necessary.
- Provide feedback to staff regarding performance and address issues as they arise with both staff and supervisor
- Assume responsibility for reports required by the Wraparound program, agency or funding sources.
- Participate in assessment of community needs and consult with community organizations as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education and Experience: Master’s Degree in one of the mental health professions. Two or more years of experience in the delivery of mental health to children and families.
- Certifications: Must have full State of Michigan Licensure: LMSW, LLP, or LPC.
- Key Skills: Must have adequate knowledge of the community mental health service delivery system. Must have excellent organizational and attention to detail skills in order to track and prepare data accurately and timely. Additional requirements include: a nonjudgmental approach that reflects cultural competency and sensitivity to the unique needs and diverse experiences of individual families effective interpersonal communication skills and a willingness to be flexible patient and creative. Must have the ability to appropriately handle crisis situations.
