Senior Account Manager - Commercial Insurance Sales
This position in for the HOUSTON area.
Hours: 9:00am-6:00pm Monday-Friday
Active General Lines P&C License REQUIRED
Position Summary:
Preferred Coverage Insurance Agency is seeking energetic and hungry individuals to join our fast-paced sales team as Senior Account Manager-Commercial. Position pays a competitive base with a generous commission structure that works well for those who are disciplined and follow our proven sales process.
Job Responsibilities:

Assist customers with various types of Commercial Insurance ex. Commercial automobile, Workers Compensation, General Liability, Excess/Umbrella and Business Owners Policies

Communicate with clients to understand their insurance needs, discuss any existing insurance coverage and insurance requirements, and customize insurance programs to suit individual customers, often covering a variety of risks.

Provide excellent service by explaining features of various policies to promote the sale of insurance plans.

Contact underwriting and submit forms to bind coverage.

Calculate premiums and establish payment methods and process payments.

Perform administrative tasks, such as organizing and completing paperwork, filing, preparing required daily reports using Excel, maintaining records and handling policy renewals daily.
Qualifications

Hold a valid and current General Lines Property & Casualty License in Texas

High School Diploma or GED

Bilingual (Spanish) REQUIRED

Must have reliable transportation.

Complete continuing education courses as required to maintain active license status with TDI.

Thorough Knowledge of Insurance Industry and Strong Insurance Sales Experience preferred

Able to work independently with minimal/no supervision and quickly learn any Company/Proprietary software

Basic Computer knowledge and possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and written/verbal skills
