About the Role
We're seeking a strategic Senior Director of Growth Marketing and Customer Retention responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies across our three brands. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you'll lead a team focused on driving growth across digital and traditional channels while optimizing our customer retention strategies.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute data-driven growth strategies to acquire new customers and enhance retention rates across our product lines, with a focus on non-standard auto insurance
- Design and execute go-to-market strategies for new markets
- Lead and optimize all marketing channels, including digital (paid and organic) and traditional methods, for a truly omnichannel approach to drive traffic to our website, local branches, and call centers
- Design and execute customer segmentation strategies and personalized engagement campaigns tailored to our target market
- Own and enhance our customer retention programs, developing strategies to improve customer lifetime value in the non-standard auto insurance market
- Build and manage a high-performing, data-driven team that understands the unique needs of our target demographic
- Collaborate with the Brand Manager, Creative Director, and other department heads to ensure cohesive marketing efforts
- Select and implement marketing technologies to optimize performance and gain a competitive advantage
- Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions
- Oversee budget allocation and ROI assessment for all growth and retention initiatives
Qualifications
What You Bring
- 10 years of experience in growth marketing, with a focus on both acquisition and retention.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of both digital and traditional marketing channels
- Experience in developing and managing customer retention programs
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and developing diverse, high-performing teams
- Excellent collaboration skills, able to work effectively across departments and with external partners
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
- Expertise in CRM systems
- Strong knowledge of marketing automation platforms
- Proficiency in marketing technologies including Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Sprout Social
- Experience with predictive modeling and machine learning applications in marketing
Plus Factors
- Insurance or financial services experience
- Experience with underserved markets or non-standard auto insurance market
- Understanding of the needs of diverse, often underserved communities
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Understanding of insurance-specific technologies and compliance requirements
- MBA or related advanced degree
