We are a Middle Georgia construction company seeking an experienced commercial building superintendent to oversee our projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in commercial construction, with a strong background in "ground up" or "start-to-finish" construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and coordinate subcontractors, materials, and inspections to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain accurate and complete project documents, including field revisions and notes
- Communicate regularly with the project manager and owner regarding project progress and any issues that may arise
- Ensure compliance with building and site layout plans, as well as construction schedules
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in commercial construction
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in all seasons
- Familiarity with building and site layout processes, blueprints, and construction schedules
- Basic computer skills
