Electrical Contractor – Assistant Project Estimator

We are a Union Electrical Contractor on the South Shore looking for an Assistant Estimator. Experience in the industry is helpful, however, we are willing to train the right person. There are many opportunities for growth. This position involves but is not limited to the following :

• Organize and maintain BID correspondence and documentation as directed
• Execute bid log responses and follow ups
• Print drawings and coordinate delivery to job site as needed
• Price time and materials change order slips
• Coordinate project bulletins and change order requests and pricing
• Coordinate and issue price requests with vendors for Bid Packages
• Experience with Electrical Estimating Programs is a plus
• Continue to develop knowledge of industry codes and labor units
• Continue to develop knowledge of Cost Control, Change Order, and Estimating
• Ability to read and interpret Blueprints and SK's
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently and support a group of estimators

Schedule : This is a full-time office-based (not a remote position) at our Pembroke, MA location
