Job Description:
A.N.A.'s Friends is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a part-time Administrative Office Assistant. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization by providing administrative support to various departments. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and passionate about contributing to the well-being of vulnerable children.
Responsibilities:
Outreach Event Planning
- Develop and implement strategies for planning and executing large-scale outreach events for the children supported by A.N.A.'s Friends.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, event programming, catering, and other details to ensure successful events.
Community Engagement:
- Represent A.N.A.'s Friends at community events, volunteer fairs, and other relevant gatherings to promote the organization's mission.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, businesses, and individuals to enhance outreach efforts.
Volunteer Recruitment:
- Attend volunteer fairs and community events to recruit volunteers who can contribute to the organization's mission.
- Collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator to ensure effective volunteer engagement and retention.
Marketing and Public Relations Support:
- Collaborate with the Education and Marketing Committees to play a vital role in the implementation of public relations strategies that enhance the visibility and reputation of A.N.A.'s Friends in the community.
- Assist in the coordination of promotional materials for events and outreach activities in collaboration with the communications team, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing and educational goals of the organization.
Duties:
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to promote awareness of our organization's programs and services.
- Educate individuals and communities about the resources available to them.
- Collaborate with community partners to identify and address community needs.
- Conduct presentations and workshops to educate the public on various topics related to our organization's mission.
- Recruit and train volunteers to assist with outreach efforts.
- Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of outreach initiatives.
- Manage social media platforms to engage with the target audience and promote our organization's mission.
- Assist with fundraising activities to support outreach programs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in program development and implementation is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Proficient in social media management.
- Experience with data collection and analysis for program evaluation purposes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
