The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day administrative operations of a residential facility. This role involves supervising and coordinating administrative staff, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and organized leader, capable of managing multiple tasks, solving problems, and providing exceptional support to both staff and residents.
Hourly Pay: $23 DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8 AM – 4 PM
Location: Mesa, AZ
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School or GED required.
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
Two (2) years supervisory experience.
Knowledge of trauma informed care, preferred.
Prior experience working with Domestic Violence, Sexual Violence, and/or homelessness, preferred.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Participate in staff interviewing, hiring, transfers, terminations and training with the Human Resources Department.
Complete staff orientation checklists, competencies, and performance evaluations in a timely manner.
Document (verbal/written) and submit significant and routine paperwork such as statistics reports, daily activities, upcoming events, special concerns, varied incident reports, etc., as required by the program and submit to appropriate personnel.
Participate in performance evaluations and staff disciplinary actions with Manager.
Work with program staff to ensure that all reports and paperwork required by placing agencies are submitted in a timely fashion.
Directly responsible to the Manager for administrative and program issues regarding admission, discharge and utilization management issues, in conformance with accepted social work practices and the agency’s program definition and policies.
Responsible for understanding and following agency policies and procedures regarding staff performance, leave, work standards, etc.
Supervise and provide technical direction for staff including co-facilitation of weekly staff meetings.
Meet with Manager as needed to review progress, problem solve, and address issues relating to staff and program.
Support Utilization Management functions as needed in conjunction with Manager.
Complete Inquiry/Referral forms, as appropriate.
Responsible for the day-to-day monitoring of the campus.
Work with Philanthropy Department in placement of volunteers and with the Human Resources Department for the placement of interns.
Participate in "on call" rotation for the shelter, as approved by Manager.
Assist with regular cleaning of shelter, organization and distribution of food boxes and donations.
Be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs. Drive agency passenger van (up to 12-15 seats) to transport clients.
Drive personal vehicle to conduct program business.
Maintain program gift cards, complete supply orders, complete timecard etc., assuring all forms are completed accurately and forwarded to the appropriate departments before deadlines.
