Role:
The Sr. Salesforce Developer will design, develop, and implement custom solutions on the Salesforce platform while ensuring high code quality and performance. This role includes responsibilities such as data migration, API development, and participating in Agile processes to deliver effective software solutions.
Duties:
The Sr. Salesforce Developer will:
- Design, develop, implement, and support custom solutions using the Salesforce platform.
- Perform data migration and integration activities.
- Design, develop, implement, and support API development.
- Use best development practices to ensure high code quality standards are met.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs.
- Test the stability and functionality of the application.
- Follow the team’s established Agile processes, which include both short- and long-term planning, cross-functional support, and demonstrating working software.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Salesforce platform and data structure, and how to leverage the tool to meet customer needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
Certification:
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification, required
Required Skills:
- 10 years of relevant experience or a combination of relevant experience and education.
- 5 years of Salesforce application development.
- Experience with Salesforce platform development, including SFDC APIs, REST-based web services, XML, Apex, JavaScript, SQL, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components.
- Experience with data model and data migration using Data Loader and/or Integration tools.
- Experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboards including Tableau CRM.
- Experience with Salesforce development life cycle with DevOps process and tools.
- Experience designing and implementing automated build and deployment pipelines and supporting platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce Lightning.
- Working knowledge of agile lifecycle tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Working knowledge of cloud services.
- Ability to effectively debug and resolve issues and/or defects.
- Ability to connect technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Able to clearly communicate and provide positive recommendations for improvements to existing software applications.
- Understanding of the importance of clean code and integrated testing while following design best practices (data structure and design patterns).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Java, Python, and MS SQL.
- Experience with federal government or healthcare IT.
