Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate departments or personnel
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems, including patient records and agency documentation
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Assist with data entry and maintaining up-to-date records
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable
- Support administrative and clinical staff with clerical tasks as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in a medical or home health care office setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
