As an Office Assistant, you will work a part-time shift of Monday through Thursday 8am to 2pm for a solid 24 hours per week with occasional hours running up to 4pm. You will also have all major holidays as paid time off (after your probationary period ends) and up to 40 hours of accumulated paid time off. There may also be a possibility of Friday hours in the future once training has been completed.

Primary Duties:
- Crosstrain for other office positions, utilizing different software for each position which calls for a great understanding of computer usage skills
- Perform basic office duties like copying, shredding, cleaning and stocking coffee station, tracking/organizing/ordering office supplies, upkeep bulletin boards, deposit creation, mail receiving and sorting, upkeep the lending closet, errand running like weekly deposits and for needed supplies, fire drill tracking and aid, aiding in decorating for holidays, general organization, etc.
- Perform top level customer service both in person and on the phone, acting as the primary phone call receiver and diverting calls to the appropriate department.
- Other tasks, as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Must be proficient in Google Sheets/Docs and Microsoft Office
- Must be highly proficient with computer navigation and usage skills
- Must be highly organized
- Background Check, and Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card are required-- we can help the right candidate to obtain these certifications
- Must have good customer service skills, show patience, be very outgoing, and be an example of kindness to all you encounter
- Must be able to speak and read in English and communicate clearly with staff, volunteers, vendors, clients, and the general public
- Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work in a busy, noisy, fast-paced work environment
