Job #40133: Proactive and Efficient House Manager Needed For A Family In Boulder
(Iris Ave & Folsom St)
Message from Family: We both have demanding jobs and busy schedules. Mom works from home in a dedicated office most days, while Dad primarily goes to his office. We've had multiple wonderful au pairs, but we’ve realized we need more support and are now looking for a house manager. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can make our lives a little easier so we can spend quality time with the kids during our downtime, without having to worry about the little things. We do not have any pets and do not plan to get any until our boys are older. We have a regular housekeeper.
About the Children: Our oldest is a four-year-old boy who is super-curious and into STEM and mechanical things. He is generally sweet-tempered, but like all little boys, he occasionally has moments where he's a bit of a tornado. He will eat anything and is a great sleeper. No special needs.
Our youngest is an almost two-year-old, high-energy, and fearless boy. He’s 90% happy and giggly, 10% frustrated and loud—mostly because he was a bit late in learning to speak. He has strong feelings and a lot to say but is still developing the vocabulary to communicate. He’s a good eater, though picky about a few things, and a good sleeper. No special needs.
Their Ideal House Manager: We are looking for a House Manager who is proactive, independent, and kind but also authoritative with the boys. We're looking for somebody independent, proactive, and can help the household run smoothly. We need someone who is excellent at planning ahead and helping everything run smoothly.
Travel: The house manager should be passport-ready, as we typically spend 4–6 weeks in Hawaii over the summer, frequently visit the mountains during the winter on weekends and holidays, and take 1–2 international trips per year.
