Job #43280: Travel-Ready and Learning Focused Nanny Needed for A Family In Dallas,TX (Hillcrest Rd & Forest Ln)

Message from Family: We are a family of almost 4 (3 year old girl and newborn baby girl almost born) with two cats who relocated to Dallas from California last year. Both parents work from home. We are a holistically-minded family, placing a high value on an organic and holistic lifestyle. Both parents are present and involved in their children’s daily life but are needing more support to work and keep the house running smoothly.

We still own our house in Los Angeles and may return for a few months out the year but as of now, we are renting out the house for 6 months to a year (Palisades Fire Victims) so there are not currently plans to return to Los Angeles in the near future.

About the Children: Our daughter is a 3 year old who loves playing dress up, acting, singing, dancing and doing arts & crafts. She’s very advanced in speaking - loves to learn and read and be involved in day to day things, like cooking and cleaning. She’s funny, loving and has a big personality! She is bright, emotionally intelligent, extremely outgoing, imaginative and confident.

New baby girl is due around March 1st.

Their Ideal Nanny: We are looking for someone with experience and/or training in child education methods such as Montessori, Waldorf, RIE, or gentle parenting - The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about child education and interested in continuously learning about these philosophies. We hope to find someone who loves spending time with our daughter and is genuinely invested in her well-being and growth, treating her like their own family.

We seek a professional caregiver who leads with consciousness, patience, attuned communication, and emotional intelligence. Additionally, we need someone who is very active and open to traveling. Someone who can teach and help implement and support either a Montessori and Waldorf rhythm throughout the day.

Travel: Our family travels frequently. On some trips, the nanny will travel with us, while on others, the nanny will house-sit and care for our cats. While a passport is ideal, it is not required at this time. When traveling with our nanny we will provide housing accommodations. There may be times when our nanny will not join us on the trip. During these periods, the nanny will be required to house-sit, care for our cats, and/or assist with personal assistant duties in Dallas while we are away.

Pet Care/Pet sitting

Schedule:
Monday - Tuesday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Wednesday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
Thursday, 11:00 am - 7:00 pm
* 34 hours/week guaranteed
* Flexible on the times and days if needed

Compensation: $25-$30 per hour DOE
