Nanny Needed Part-Time

Message from Family: Both parents are working doctors and we have three kids. We moved from Dallas to Fort Worth in the Fall of 2022 and have loved it. Both of our boys will go to school full day. Our oldest boy is finishing 2nd grade and our youngest boy is finishing Pre-K at the same school. Our daughter is starting full-time school this summer ( currently part-time with other activities during the week). We have a sweet 1-year golden retriever. We have a pool with an electric cover that stays on unless we are home and planning to swim with the kids (for now). The kids have a lot of afterschool activities that mostly have them staying later at school but also have sports practices and games during the week. They also have piano lessons in our home once a week.

About the Children: Our oldest is a very sweet and smart 8-year-old boy. He takes very good care of his little brother and sister. He likes to read, play with legos, is in all the sports, and is into Star Wars and Harry Potter. He is in the 2nd grade this year. Mom takes him to school in the morning and he gets picked up between 3:30 and 4:45p depending on the day/after-school activity. He sometimes has sports practice after school or games to go to in the evening.

Our youngest son is a very active and funny almost 6-year-old boy. He loves sports and legos and Star Wars/ anything his older brother loves:) He is a character and makes us laugh all the time! He is finishing up pre-K. Mom will take him to school and he gets picked up at 2:30 or 3:30 pm depending on the day. He sometimes has sports practices or games after school.

Our youngest is a sweet, funny, smart, and gorgeous almost 4-year-old. She attends part-time preschool but will start going full-day this summer. Mom will drop her off and she will get picked up after school/time will vary depending on the day. Currently she is doing dance and Little Gym but will not have time for those if in school full time. She loves doing art and princesses and playing Star Wars with her brothers.

We have a very 1-year-old Golden Retriever. He is pretty big and very sweet.

Their Ideal Nanny: Ideally our nanny would be reliable, trustworthy, on-time, experienced (with younger kids especially), sweet but knows how to discipline, patient, and organized. We are looking for someone who will be comfortable with 3 children, a self-starter and is able to see what is needed around the house and with the kids, and just does it without being told. We would prefer a Spanish speaker but it is not a requirement.

Additional Job Details: We would want our nanny to come to our house around 1 pm and tidy the house in the morning, make beds, do family laundry, then go do school pickups. Then plan to feed the kids dinner around 5-5:30 pm and tidy up after dinner. We would appreciate other light housework ( dishes, sweeping up after kids, tidying the playroom, changing sheets, putting away groceries, etc) when possible/time allows.

We would also love to have some flexibility for rare full days when the kids don't have school (we would have lots of advance notice for this based on the school calendar) or possibly full days when the kids are sick (this rarely happens but with our work schedules, it is very hard for us to cancel last minute).

Start Date: ASAP (End of April/ Beginning of May)

Expected Job Duration: Longterm

Duties: Light housekeeping, Family Laundry, Children's laundry, Cooking for children

Schedule: Monday- Friday, 12:00 pm- 6:00 pm, 30 hours/week
**The family will need the nanny to work a full-time schedule in May. May Schedule: Monday- Friday, 7:30 am- 5:30 pm, 50 hours/week (Anything over 40 hours is paid at time & half)

Compensation: $25/hr- $30/hr

Benefits: Gas Mileage Reimbursement

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
