A Pet’s Choice is looking for a Vet Tech Assistant to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

- Support veterinarians and technicians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
- With each hospital function, assist veterinarians and technicians to maximize productivity and maintain a positive patient flow.
- Complete and assist with treatments such as nail trims, ear cleanings, restrain patients for treatments.
- Assist with maintaining a relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of the practice software.
- Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and keep a clean and safe treatment areas, exam rooms, and kennels.
- Keep appointment and surgical suites stocked
- Assist with surgical recovery by checking on patients and updating hospital staff
- Other tasks as assigned
- Minimum of 1 year experience in veterinary hospital
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Ability to multi task
