Vanguard Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

- Proper animal restraint for medical procedures
- Daily documentation of tasks (appetite, bathroom habits, etc.)
- Maintain a clean environment.
- Walking pets/ taking outside
- Accurately label pets and their belongings
- Administer food and medications to pets.
- Accurately communicating and document any problems or concerns such as illnesses or injury
- Communicate with client’s updates on pets.
- Cleaning of hospital grounds (interior and exterior)
- Cleaning - maintaining a safe and clean area for the hospital

- 1 years in veterinary hospital experience or shelter facility
- Prior proper animal restraint training
- Has effective communication skills
