Summary

Are you interested in teaching young children and love gardening, walks in the woods, and being outdoors? We are looking for you! A Place to Grow is situated on 13 acres and there are opportunities to explore the woods, garden, go for nature walks, and grow through experiential learning processes in our Nature Explore certified outdoor classrooms.


Full time, Part time or substitute teaching options. Flexible shift options are available (examples include 6:30am-11am, 11 am-3 pm, and 2 pm-5:30 pm, split shift, or even full time). This is a great opportunity for high school students, an active retiree, a parent while kids are at school, or a beginning to a new career.

Duties

Our educators have the incredible opportunity to work with all classrooms and students across the school. Teachers assist throughout the day including break coverage, supervising activities, and assist in activities of daily living. This is a great opportunity to learn about early childhood education and begin your journey as a teacher or enjoy your semi-retirement in a special nature based setting.


Requirements

No previous experience is required. Candidates with degrees in alternative fields are encouraged to apply.

Candidates must complete NH Health and Safety Training online

Fingerprinting and a Background check are required (company paid for)

Complete First Aid and CPR training (company paid for)


Be ready to share the joy of learning through play in a beautiful nature based setting!


This is an off campus job and will require transportation a few miles from UNH.
