Our Speech Language Pathologist reports to the Rehabilitation Services Manager and supports Edgerton Hospital by performing the following duties:
- Provides specialized speech therapy services to address communication, voice, language, cognitive, swallowing, and speech needs of a patient.
- Works closely with other rehab staff along with various hospital departments to assure the delivery of quality patient care.
- Educates the family of patients and other health care team members by incorporating health maintenance, disease process, and discharge planning.
- May on occasion supervise affiliating students.
