A.R. Mazzotta has an opportunity for an experienced Shipping Clerk! Position is working on-site with a top client in the Essex area. Contract to hire!
$18 per hour
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8am – 6:30pm. Enjoy your Fridays off!!
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing orders for shipment. Requiring excellent attention to detail, basic computer skills and reliability.
Additionally, you will:
- Assist in the assembly department.
- Perform inventory counts.
- Prepare shipping documentation (UPS / Fed-Ex).
- Work closely with management on urgent shipments.
- Assist customers who choose to pick up orders.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a shipping department.
- Basic computer skills.
- Inventory knowledge including cycle counts.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Standing and moving throughout the shift.
- Ability to commit to working assigned hours.
