Our client is looking for a well-versed shipping lead to join their warehouse team. The lead role requires a person capable of managing inventory levels, scheduling and processing orders for shipping to customers, and assisting with general warehouse duties. Proficiency working on various computer programs will be necessary in this role.
$21 - $25 per hour, depending on experience. Contract to hire. New London area.
As the Shipping Lead, you will play a vital role in the overall warehouse operation working directly under the Warehouse Manager.

- Ability to lift 55 lbs
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with managing inventory levels, cycle counts, etc.
- Experience shipping freight using variety of carriers
- Assisting with gathering quotes for shipping costs from different vendors.
- Forklift experience
- Willingness to handle all hands-on aspects of the warehouse.
