Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher Aide to join our team. Duties
- Assist the Lead Teacher in supervising children.
- Some custodial duties such as sweeping up food and wiping tables after mealtimes, vacuuming and sanitizing before closing time, other duties as needed.
- Implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Educate and guide preschool students in various subjects, including language, math, science, and social skills.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the classroom setting.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Experience
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A commitment to fostering positive relationships within the classroom community.
