Inland Respite, Inc. is dedicated to serving the developmentally disabled population with compassion and professionalism. We are currently seeking a Receptionist to join our team in Corona, CA.
Position Overview
As a Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in our administration building, providing essential support to our operations team. This non-exempt position, operating under the general direction of the Operations Manager or their designee, involves a variety of front desk duties, including managing visitor documentation, directing phone calls, maintaining schedules, and assisting other departments as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer a multi-line telephone system, document calls, transfer calls efficiently, and provide information.
- Deliver essential messages promptly to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate tracking logs, such as call-in logbooks and visitor logs.
- Update and maintain the office reference binder with current contact information.
- Open and distribute incoming mail to the relevant department or employee.
- Welcome visitors warmly and address any questions or concerns they may have.
- Keep the reception area and common areas clean and organized.
- Enter and maintain accurate HR and client-related information in the designated systems.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication.
- Assist in organizing meetings or special events as needed.
- Support HR with compliance postings and manage bulletin boards.
- Prepare for mass mail deliveries and assist with payroll checks.
- Monitor the time clock area to ensure it functions correctly.
- Compile correspondence and manage evaluations when required.
Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED) with one year of office or clerical support experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Proficient typing skills (30 wpm) and basic business arithmetic.
- Familiarity with MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word for Windows.
- Experience with HelloSign, DocuSign, and other digital signature platforms.
- Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers, calculators, and telephones.
- Comfortable using video conferencing and online chat platforms like Zoom.
