Secondary: Responsible in-kind gifts (non-cash donations): soliciting donors, developing and stewarding relationships, tracking and recording gifts, coordinating in-kind drives, and distributing of items to programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Recruit corporate volunteer groups and place applicants for volunteer work.
- Respond to all volunteer inquiries
- Develop and implement a strategy for soliciting, engaging and maintaining new volunteers
- Schedule all volunteer activities, including tours.
- Maintain volunteer database and keep records of volunteer activities, including numbers of teams, volunteers, hours worked, contact information, etc.
- Ensure that volunteer liability waivers are signed and filed
- Conduct and/or arrange for volunteer orientation and training.
- Build relationships with groups through service and follow-up communication, resulting in return group visits.
- Ensure volunteers support the various areas of operations, including special events, development and marketing/communications.
- Manage Volunteer E-Newsletter for organization updates
- Attend, coordinate, manage and assist in events, including fundraisers, donation drives, and mailings
- Soliciting in-kind gifts for programs, operations, events and special projects as determined on an ongoing basis via phone, email, formal letters/requests and in-person meetings with a specific focus on budget-relieving outreach.
- Work with leadership and development teams in identifying program needs and focus on in-kind funding opportunities to address those priority needs.
- Developing and managing in-kind outreach letters, correspondence, proposals and reports.
- Overseeing and coordinating calendar for in-kind donations, tracking deliverables, and maintaining database.
- Coordinating with operations, programs, and entertainment teams to provide support on respective in-kind outreach, donor stewardship, and tracking.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High energy and passion for ASHFs mission are essential.
- Associates Degrees preferred
- Demonstrated skill and knowledge of O365
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and encourage others.
- Ability to work both independently without close oversight but also function as a team player who will take the initiative and manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently
