Your Role :
As a Rapid Rehousing Case Manager , you will secure housing for survivors of domestic violence by building partnerships with landlords and assisting clients in maintaining stable housing. You will provide holistic case management, including intake assessments, service planning, employment support, economic assistance, and legal advocacy, ensuring survivors receive the resources needed to rebuild their lives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop relationships with landlords to secure subsidized rental housing.
- Educate landlords on safety policies and survivor protections.
- Conduct intake assessments, determine eligibility, and create individualized service plans.
- Assist clients with housing searches, applications, and lease agreements.
- Conduct home visits and ensure compliance with housing requirements.
- Connect clients to employment, education, and financial assistance resources.
- Provide legal advocacy, including assistance with Orders of Protection and victim compensation claims.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with grant funding requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to coordinate support services.
- Commit to supporting survivors and fostering a violence-free society.
- Engage clients authentically while maintaining clear boundaries.
- Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds
- Align practices with professional ethics, such as the NASW Code of Ethics.
- Work effectively as part of the team; collaborating effectively across the organization.
- Actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and team activities.
- Perform other organizational and program-related duties as assigned.
- Complete IM CANS certification, 40-hour Domestic Violence, and other required training.

Compensation & Benefits :
Hourly Rate : $23 - $28 per hour, paid bi-weekly (26 pay periods annually).
Compensation Factors : Based on grant funding, skills, experience, and expertise.
