WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5 years of experience in a field like roofing or construction
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations, construction processes, and roofing systems (shingle, flat roof, metal, etc.)
- Proven ability to lead teams and directly supervise laborers and subcontractors
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think on your feet and solve problems as they arise
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders or scaffolding, and work outdoors in various weather conditions while wearing proper safety gear
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Some ability to speak English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
DAY-TO-DAY
Our Field Service Superintendent oversees our roofing projects from beginning to end, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and field crews to pull off impressive projects. Attentively supervising our on-site operations, you ensure crew members follow all construction guidelines and safety procedures as they complete work according to the client's specifications. You're motivated to get the job done on time and within budget, coordinating with vendors and the production manager to ensure timely deliveries and track project costs. Diligently, you monitor crew performance, maintain schedules, and solve problems as they come up.
Leading regular safety meetings and occasional training sessions, you empower your team to excel. Your keen attention to detail ensures quality control, and you promptly address any discrepancies between the work and the client's expectations. You complete accurate project documentation and inform clients and internal staff about the job's progress. As you motivate your team, perform closeout duties, and tackle other construction responsibilities as needed, you take pride in being a key part of our success!
