Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate precision parts. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Job Summary:
· Makes adjustments in the program to achieve correct specification.*
· Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.*
· Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
· Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
· Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
· Ability to perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of manufacturing software; database software and CNC software. (MASTERCAM)
· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
· Operate and program Mazak CNC Mill.
Skills:
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and their use in quality control
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Knowledge of geometry and trigonometry for calculating tool paths and machine settings
