A.T. Staffing is looking to hire a Full-Time Heavy Equipment Operator who is ready to work for a great company!! Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of heavy equipment, including loaders, farm machinery, Caterpillar equipment, roll-off trucks, water trucks, front loader trucks, and backhoes
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment to complete assigned tasks
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment
- Transport materials or equipment to and from job sites as needed
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Must have experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, forklift, trac-hoe, front loader trucks, and backhoes as needed.
-Must be able to install, replace and repair fire hydrants, water valves and set paving boxes.
-Cut concrete, ductile iron pipe, PVC pipe, clay pipe and cast-iron pipe. Pour and finish concrete.
-Must be able to set water meters, meter boxes, and run water services from main to property.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Create records and fill put the appropriate paperwork
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and focus on safety
