Job Summary
The Purchasing Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services necessary for business operations. This position involves overseeing various aspects of the purchasing process to maintain optimal inventory levels and supplier relationships.
Duties
- Creates of Quotation, Local Purchase Order and Negotiate with supplier and with customer
- Creates invoice and delivery notes
- Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to prevent stockouts
- Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs
- Manage sourcing activities to identify reliable suppliers and maintain supplier relationships
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and requirements
- Oversee logistics and shipping activities to ensure timely delivery of goods
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of procurement management principles
- Knowledge of inventory control practices to optimize stock levels
- Experience in sourcing suppliers and managing supplier relationships
