A Towing is a premier towing company and provider of roadside assistance in Eugene Oregon. We are looking to add a Tow Truck Operator to our team (CDL not required). If this listing is still open, we are considering applicants!
We have an established training program for those without experience. Our Emergency Roadside Tow Truck Operator employees have an exciting and rewarding job. We promote consistently from our current employees. We work with all the police departments in the area and have great equipment. This position will be most attractive to individuals who have integrity, enjoy helping others, and like to be prepared.
Responsibilities
Must be able to provide excellent customer service
Tasks include emergency roadside assistance and transport of vehicles
Shifts include rotating days and on call nights

Hourly wage with commission bonus system based on revenue generated
We've calculated the starting wage for our new tow truck operators (without prior experience but after training) to be ~$16 per hour on average over their first 6 months

Application
Due to our Police Contracts, we must send background check forms to the Police and drug test before hiring. Background check is free for applicant and performed by the police department.
You must have a valid Oregon driver's license with 5 year good record. Insurance requires a Motor Vehicle Record Check and minimum age of 23 (21 with prior experience)
Must pass drug test
Growth
We also have many exciting opportunities for specialization in our company. We've assisted our Tow Truck Drivers with getting their Class A or B CDL licenses. They are then eligible for our Vehicle Transport and Heavy Duty Towing operations. Heavy Duty Towing includes assistance and recovery of semi-truck size vehicles and loads.
DOT requires drivers acquire a medical card be submitted to company within 30 days of hire

Pay: $14.70 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 45 per week
