About the Role:
This position begins with an approximately six-week backlog project. Upon successful completion, you may transition into training for a Customer Service Agent role, contingent upon your performance during the initial phase.
Backlog Project Responsibilities:
- Identify and remove duplicate documentation.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of submitted documents.
- Review voicemails and applications for processing.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Training Requirements:
- Must attend full-time daytime training.
- Weekend availability may be required.

Customer Service Agent Role Overview:
As a Customer Service Agent, you will assist customers with health insurance eligibility inquiries. This role is ideal for individuals who are empathetic, detail-oriented, and enjoy helping others. You will work in a structured environment under close supervision, where accuracy and consistency are key.
Your responsibilities will be introduced gradually, ensuring ample time for training and skill development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and verify health benefit eligibility, including Medicare.
- Assist customers with questions about benefits and primary care provider assignments.
- Collaborate with providers and members to resolve health plan issues (e.g., system or eligibility problems).
- Accurately document call details in the CRM system.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all member information.
- Conduct follow-ups via outbound calls or emails as needed.
- Take on additional responsibilities or coverage duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1 year in a healthcare or health insurance call center role (preferred).
- Residency: Must currently reside in TN, IA, or WI.
- Internet: Reliable high-speed internet with the ability to be hard-wired.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- License/Certification: Valid driver's license in TN, IA, or WI (required).
