Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and be comfortable working on the water at construction sites. This role involves a mix of carpentry, pile driving, and framing. The Carpenter/Laborer will work closely with other tradespeople to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
- Work on the water building docks and bulkheads along the Pamlico river
- Work off of a 20’ x 50’ barge
- We build mostly concrete and vinyl piers and vinyl bulkheads.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations on the construction site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as a carpenter or laborer in a construction setting is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
