What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social media coordinator position at A.wordsmith?
Do you love creating fun, engaging social content for Instagram? We are looking for a someone to help run organic social media campaigns for clients. The right person needs to be based in the Portland-metro area and able to spend time onsite at clients, collecting content in the form of photos and video. This means we are looking for social superstars who can interact with people (and maybe cute animals too), as well as bring creative, fresh ideas to the campaigns in order to drive maximum engagement with audiences.
Beyond content collection the role includes the writing of captions and management of posting, monitoring and responding. The job requires editing and creating videos and photo posts that match our clients' tone and brand. Experience using Sprout Social is a plus.
The person will work remotely and have flexibility over their schedule, with the caveat that clients have certain days/times that they like us to be onsite and deadlines on when their posts need to go live. The person will work with other members of the A.wordsmith team and have the opportunity to grow within the firm.
This is a freelance position. We have an immediate need for fill 40 hours per month. This number can evolve based on client needs.
