Job Description
This role involves overseeing the management of projects related to stormwater construction, landfill capping, soil removal actions, slope stabilization, demolition, underground storage tank removal, and stream restoration. The successful candidate will have experience in project management, construction operations, and environmental remediation.
Responsibilities
- Manage project planning and execution to ensure quality control standards, project schedules, and budgets are met.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders for seamless project coordination.
- Mange and lead a construction crew, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Review project plans, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate the procurement of construction materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement change orders.
- Communicate effectively with clients about project status and address their concerns.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards and are completed with attention to detail.
- Prevent project overruns by controlling costs.
Requirements
- Certified Professional Engineer/Certified Professional Geologist certification is preferred.
- USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification is required.
