Overview
Sales Representative
- Industry Experience and Knowledge
At least 1-3 years of experience working with parts from recognized brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, John Deere, etc.
Familiarity with key components such as engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, electrical systems, among others.
Knowledge of major distributors and manufacturers of heavy equipment parts.
- Sales Skills
Ability to identify customer needs and offer tailored solutions based on the type of machinery and required parts.
Strong negotiation skills, including pricing, delivery terms, and transaction conditions.
Experience in key account management, post-sales follow-up, and customer retention.
Ability to meet and exceed established sales targets.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and understandably to customers with varying levels of technical knowledge.
Skilled in handling customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with a proactive, service-oriented approach.
Ability to present products and services effectively in face-to-face meetings, phone calls, or online platforms.
- Logistics and Inventory Management Knowledge
Understanding of inventory management and ensuring part availability when needed by customers.
Basic computer skills.
- Technical Skills
Basic understanding of how heavy equipment works and the parts required for maintenance.
Ability to identify and recommend the correct parts based on equipment diagnostics or customer needs.
- Personal Competencies
Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently while staying focused on sales goals.
Organizational skills to manage schedules, follow up with potential clients, and maintain proper records of interactions.
Bilingual: English-Spanish.

Valid driver's license.
Availability to travel.
