Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in assisted living and memory care environments, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will work closely with residents to assist them with daily activities, promote their independence, and uphold their rights within a personal care home or retirement home setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to residents in daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Assist with medication administration as per prescribed guidelines and ensure compliance with resident rights.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by following proper hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Support residents with mobility and transportation needs within the facility.
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life.
- Document care provided and report any changes in resident condition to the appropriate staff members.
- Uphold the dignity and respect of all residents while promoting their independence.
Skills
- Experience in direct support roles or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of assisted living protocols and resident rights is essential.
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with residents, families, and staff members.

Pay: $194.89 - $195.27 per day
