- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies, following up on any outstanding claims or denials.
- Maintain detailed records of all billing transactions, including payments received and outstanding balances.
- Communicate with customers regarding their accounts, including inquiries about bills, payment plans, and collections.
- Collaborate with insurance providers to ensure proper documentation of services rendered for accurate billing.
- Stay updated on changes in restoration terminology, billing practices, and regulations affecting billing processes.
- Assist with the management of collections as necessary, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in billing and collections within an office setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
