What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rental Specialist / Office Manager position at A1 Tablecloth Company?
Party and Tent Rental company in Northern New Jersey area is seeking a motivated, senior-level party and tent rental specialist. This is a manager level position who will be responsible for the daily operations of the office as well as customer service and assistant to owner. Employee must be a self-motivated, independent, professional who can multi-task and work under pressure. Individual must be proficient in Party Track, Microsoft Office 365, Outlook email and calendar management. Bookkeeping and payroll experience is also a must. Responsibilities include:
· Managing and overseeing office and staff, which includes Accounts Receivable/Payable, HR duties, IT, and Purchasing.
· Take orders via phone, fax, and email.
· Prepare rental order contracts.
· Coordinate delivery and pick up schedules with warehouse manager.
· Secure all necessary permits for event functions.
· Schedule and handle showroom appointments.
- Providing administrative support to owner as requested.
- Overseeing, training, and helping with all office/administrative work including order entry, answering phones, handling issues, and collections.
· Resolving escalated customer service complaints.
- Keeping detailed records of customer interactions and inquiries, as well as actions taken.
Required competencies:
· Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in the Party & Tent Rental industry.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of office management experience.
· Proven track record of managing and developing staff.
· Ability to resolve both customer and employee issues.
· Ability to use discretion when handling sensitive, as well as confidential information.
· Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to keep self and employees on track.
· Time management skills
· Problem solving skills
· Bookkeeping/payroll experience
· Party Track / Microsoft Office 365
· Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
