A2O Entertainment is a Global Culture and Technology Enterprise led by Producer Soo Man Lee, the founder of K-Pop (SM Entertainment).
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to serve as a live-in Talent Manager and Coordinator for our trainees. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to interact effectively with young adults, and a willingness to ensure the seamless management of their schedules, logistics, and daily needs. The ideal candidate will act as a mentor and supervisor, supporting the trainees during their stay and helping them thrive in their training program. They should also be able to go through a background check.
We need this person to be able to live with our trainees coming from China so I think we need to conduct background check. Please advise if we need to provide/require anything else.
Responsibilities:
A K-pop road manager is a critical member of an idol group’s support team, responsible for the day-to-day logistics and on-the-ground support during schedules, tours, and promotional activities. They work closely with the artists, ensuring their needs are met while managing transportation, schedules, and coordination with various stakeholders. In the fast-paced, high-pressure world of K-pop, road managers are often the unsung heroes who keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
- Accompany idols to all scheduled activities, including music shows, fan events, rehearsals, photoshoots, interviews, and performances. Ensure timely arrivals and departures by coordinating transportation (e.g., driving the group in a van or arranging other travel). Monitor and adjust schedules in real-time to accommodate delays or last-minute changes.
- Provide direct assistance to idols, such as carrying personal items, managing wardrobe changes, or ensuring they have food and water.
- Maintain the idols’ well-being by addressing immediate issues like fatigue, health concerns, or stress during schedules.
- Coordinate with venue staff, event organizers, and broadcast teams to ensure smooth execution of performances or appearances.
- Act as a liaison between the idols and other staff (e.g., stylists, makeup artists, production teams) to relay needs or concerns.
- Protect idols from overzealous fans or unsafe situations, especially in crowded public spaces like airports or event venues.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the idols and the management team or company during schedules.
- Arrange and confirm transportation (e.g., vans, flights, buses) and accommodations for local and international schedules.
Requirements:
- Must be an experienced driver
- Must be willing to conduct a background check
- Must be experienced with interacting/managing young adults
- Must be punctual and excel with time management
- Must be willing to live-in with talent for the duration of employment
