A2Z Staffing is currently hiring qualified candidates to manufacture stainless steel duct systems for our client in El Mirage, AZ.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under close supervision you'll be introduced to a series of duties and responsibilities with increasing complexity to include, but are not limited to the following :
- Work under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Perform fit-up / dimensional inspections to verify compliance to shop drawings.
- Monitor welding operations for compliance with codes and company welding procedures.
- Perform 100% visual weld inspection for weld quality, size, and location.
- Monitor surface preparation and coating application. Perform paint inspections to verify quality and dry film thickness.
- Accurately document all performed inspections.
- Communicate with shop supervision on any noncompliant items found.
