This position is hybrid and requires 2 days per week in office in Walnut Creek, CA

JOB SUMMARY

This position is a pivotal role for developing and executing key partner co-marketing strategies, developing and executing strategic relationships with key partners, and driving growth and demand for AAA’s Smart Security solutions for Residential and Commercial members. You will be curating new products from an approved list of HW vendors who play in the Smart Home and Smart Business space. You will also be collaborating with other inbound product managers and outbound product marketing managers on product mix, messaging, positioning, and packaging driving business success.

RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES

  • Strategic Partner Marketing and Business Development
    • Develop and execute comprehensive co-marketing plans to support business goals, in collaboration with external partners
    • Use data and measurement to track the impact of partner and product marketing initiatives and influence product roadmap decisions
    • Develop and manage budgets for co-marketing initiatives, including proofs of concept and launches, ensuring ROI is met or exceeded
    • Stay current on industry trends and the competitive landscape of smart devices and automation categories to identify new opportunities
    • Manage partner and vendor relationships to ensure successful execution of product launches and releases
    • Evaluate partner performance, monitor pipeline hygiene, and strategically allocate marketing development funds (MDFs) to high-performing partners
  • Product Integration and Performance Management
    • Partner with inbound product managers to identify key partners to add to AAAs existing Smart Security ecosystem and platform
    • Collaborate with demand planning, procurement, and warehouse teams to rotate and optimize product mix and margins
    • Drive interoperability testing and resolution with external product teams
    • Monitor and report out key performance indicators, including sourced pipeline, closed won rates, and member engagements
  • Outbound Product Marketing and Campaign Management
    • Partner with outbound product marketing team on messaging and positioning for Smart Home and Smart Business
    • Influence the direction of digital and social media marketing campaigns for each premier partnership to elevate AAAs brand
    • Manage ongoing marketing campaigns, including in-person and virtual events, driving strategic partnership messaging and content creation

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful partner marketing programs that align with business objectives and product roadmaps
  • Able to communicate complex and/or technical information in a clear and concise manner to cross functional teams working in a fast-paced, iterative environment
  • Experience managing external 3rd party partners and demonstrating strong communication, problem-solving, and partnering skills
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot), and data analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; strong negotiation and influencing abilities; proven ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong stakeholder and change management skills with ability to influence and collaborate across various product and business teams
  • Background in segment marketing, with a strong understanding of Consumer and SMB/Commercial sales channels
  • Expertise in go-to-market (GTM) and product-led growth (PLG) strategies

EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in related field
    • 5 years of experience in B2B or B2C marketing, with a focus on partner marketing
    • Or High School diploma and 9 years of experience in B2B or B2C marketing, with a focus on partner marketing
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • 3 years of product management and/or product marketing experience

We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $107,687.00 - Mid: $134,608.00- Max: $161,528.00
