POSITION SUMMARY - MARKETING SPECIALIST

We’re looking for a skilled, proactive, and detail-savvy Marketing Specialist to help execute and optimize our marketing efforts and brand strategy across multiple programs and platforms. This is a hands-on role for someone who can write compelling copy, manage content calendars, coordinate campaigns, and keep marketing initiatives moving — all with a clear understanding that the goal is growth: more leads, stronger retention, and deeper client engagement.

You won’t be on an island — you’ll collaborate with our team members in media, sales, digital ads and client care to bring campaigns to life. The right candidate will love marketing, have a strong grasp of written communication, and be excited about building systems that generate consistent results. You don’t need to be a 20-year marketing veteran — but you do need to have experience, skill, and passion to execute with consistency and help move key objectives forward.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Execution & Coordination

  • Manage and schedule content consistently across platforms (Meta, Instagram, Google My Business, etc.) to ensure timely, brand-aligned media distribution.
  • Develop brand-aligned written content (e.g. value-add resources, guides, lead nurturing assets) to engage leads and serve current clients.
  • Maintain and oversee our marketing and content calendar, keeping media posts, captions, and event promotion on track.
  • Collaborate with our content producer and digital ad agency to keep paid ads effective and aligned with current goals.
  • Collaborate with our owners and content team to ensure video and written content hits the mark - from curating strong hooks to supporting on-camera content creation - for content that engages our target audience.
  • Post blogs and optimize them to support SEO and site traffic goals.

Email & Communication Campaigns

  • Write and schedule engaging “value-first” emails to leads and current clients.
  • Develop automated email workflows and support segmentation, personalization, and performance tracking across multiple programs and audience avatars.
  • Draft and send sales emails for upcoming events, camps, promotions, and launches.

Analytics & Performance

  • Track key marketing metrics (email open rates, social engagement, ad performance, SEO, etc.) to help identify what’s working.
  • Provide weekly/monthly performance summaries and recommendations to improve campaigns.
  • Spot trends and opportunities and make agile updates based on performance.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Sales & Client Care Team to support campaigns, lead flow, and client communication.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners (content producers, ad agencies, designers, etc.) to move projects forward.

Other Job Requirements:

  • Is consistently present and punctual, and meets company attendance standards.
  • Demonstrates understanding and adherence to company-wide and department-specific policies and protocols.
  • Maintains the confidential and proprietary nature of company policies and client’s businesses.
  • Able to perform work accurately and efficiently under deadline pressures.

Reporting Relationships:

Reports to: CEO/CMO

Collaborates with: Ownership team; Sales Manager; Client Success Manager; Media Team; Coaching Team; and/or internal and external stakeholders.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 1–3 years of experience in a marketing coordination, communications, or content-focused support role (or equivalent internship/education background).
  • Strong writing and messaging instincts — you can craft clear, engaging, brand-aligned copy that connects with the right audience.
  • Organized, process-driven, and dependable — you follow through and make sure the small things don’t slip through.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing, and basic SEO — and an eagerness to keep learning what drives performance.
  • Comfortable using tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and Google Drive — and quick to pick up new systems.
  • Results-focused — you understand that marketing isn’t just about publishing content; it’s about generating leads, improving retention, and driving growth.

Other Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (college degree or certifications in marketing, communications, or related field preferred).
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 35 lbs occasionally, and work at a computer for extended periods.

Schedule

  • This is a part-time position (starting at approximately 20 hours per week), with some flexibility in schedule and room to grow based on performance and business needs.
  • We’re open to finding the right person — someone who brings energy, execution, and a sharp marketing mind to our team.

Inclusion & Equal Opportunity

We’re building a workplace where every team member and client feels seen, respected, and empowered to show up fully as themselves — regardless of race, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, background, or ability. That includes hiring and promoting with fairness and transparency, making room for different perspectives, and standing firmly against discrimination and hate in any form.

If you believe that every person deserves to belong, thrive, and be treated with dignity — you’ll feel right at home here.
