Job Description:
- Develop new manufacturing technologies and production process improvements.
- Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) efforts for both new and existing programs.
- Create manufacturing procedures, operation sequencing, and detailed work instructions for complex machined parts and sub-assemblies.
- Program and prove out CNC machining programs, ensuring efficient and effective production.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance existing production.
- Establish and update time standards, man-to-machine ratios, and economic run quantities for components.
- Provide cost estimates for new business capture and process improvements.
- Lead capital equipment evaluations, justifications, purchases, and implementations.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, quality teams, and external suppliers to solve process-related challenges and mentor others.
- Take ownership of dedicated manufacturing cells, ensuring process stability and automation efficiency.
- Manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on automation and lean manufacturing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Industrial Technology or related field.
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
