A3 Technology, Inc.is seeking an IT Project Manager, preferably with cybersecurity experience, to manage our Cybersecurity group. The IT Project Manager will support the cybersecurity Program Management Organization with all aspects of program management support.
This position is 100% onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership, strategic and tactical planning and oversight in the management and administration of the Task Orders.
- Ensure technical performance of all Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) area products and services within cost and schedule for each Task Order.
- Manage and supervise the work efforts of subordinate personnel.
- Provide program support that encompasses the development and execution of multiple tasks/projects, stakeholder engagement, program outreach and tracking of associated work assignments and deliverables. This support also requires engagement with other offices, other Government Agencies and external Public/Private Partners for activities directly relevant to the support of the Cybersecurity Program efforts.
- Provide support for projects and activities at the team level, including developing internal statements of work/requirements products, developing a Master Program Plan and Detailed Schedule of Cybersecurity activities, projects and task-specific milestones.
- Support the preparation, review and maintenance of reports, guidance and plans including, but not limited to Strategic Plans, External Reports (e.g., General Accountable Office (GAO), Office of Inspector General (OIG), Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and internal/external guidance and reports.
- Prepare briefings and white papers in support of executive management or team presentations on program status covering all related initiatives to management or other work groups that may be supporting Cybersecurity activities.
- Support the development and implementation of strategy for centralized Cybersecurity Asset Management to comply with Office of Management and Budget (OMB) mandates.
- Develop, maintain and report program metrics in collaboration with program host organization.
- Evaluate/propose streamlined acquisition processes necessary to support Cybersecurity objectives.
- Develop and Maintain Cybersecurity Risk Management processes (including implementation of the Risk, Issue and Opportunity (RIO) process as appropriate).
- Support the development of program budget formulation and execution.
- Support and track funding reviews, briefings, meetings and planning.
- Provide support for correspondence preparation, file maintenance, create and produce documentation and presentation materials, perform editing, incorporate graphic services and document assembly and binding.
- Evaluate/propose streamlined acquisition processes necessary to support Cybersecurity objectives.
- Develop and maintain Cybersecurity Risk Management processes (including implementation of the Risk, Issue and Opportunity (RIO) process, as appropriate).
- Provide support for calendar administration, including managing calendars, booking meetings and providing meeting support.
- Provide support for meetings and forums for the Program Office to include preparing briefings, recording minutes, coordinating and tracking issues, action plans and resolution as requested by the TC.
- Meet monthly with the PMO and TC for a Program Management Review (PMR) at a mutually agreed upon location and format when directed by the TC. The PMR which may be held in-person or remotely must include discussion of the Task Order Information.
- Keep the Project Management Plan (PMP) current and resubmit the PMP for approval within five (5) business days of any proposed changes that result in a schedule impact of more than ten (10) business days.
Provide project schedule updates on the 10th day of the month that align with the PMP.
Skills Required:
- Experience managing projects involving planning, integrating and implementation of complex systems and equipment.
- Experience with risk management procedures.
- Experience writing and maintaining deliverables according to a prescribed schedule.
- Experience supporting Program Management Organizations (PMO).
- Experience writing reports and presentations for audiences at variable technical levels.
- Experience with federal IT security rulesets such as NIST.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated to take ownership of projects.
Skills Preferred:
- Certificate in a program management area (e.g. PMP).
- Certificate in an IT security area (e.g. CISSP, CISM).
- Experience working with a large organization (>35,000 customers).
- Experience collaborating with peer and client teams.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Cybersecurity/Computer Science and 20 years of IT program management experience.
Additionally, US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is a must. Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, candidates will undergo a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Government clearance. Verification of past employment, education and references is also required. It is imperative that candidates be either a US citizen or a current green card holder with the last 3 consecutive years as a resident of the US.
